Happy belated Father's Day

My online time has obviously been limited if you've noticed my lack of posts. I know I wasn't on a computer once this weekend, and I believe I wasn't on for a few days before that... not really by choice but limited by time. :) Which is fine by me but don't be expecting blog posts as frequently. I guess I'll be lucky to do one or two a week, at least for a while. The only reason I'm on now is because Daddy is holding her, and I'm awake enough to type a few lines.

I'm too lazy to look for the camera to post new photos of Brijin, but here's one from last week I thought was cute of her and Daddy, in honor of Father's Day. Still working on my labor post - I've written a lot, but it's not quite ready yet.

By the way, we had a lot of issues breastfeeding at first. However after Brijin turned two weeks, we're old pros. I can't believe today is her three-week birthday.

I also dedicate this post to Tim Russert, one of my favorite journalists. He will be sorely missed by our nation because he asked the tough and necessary questions of our public servants. Watching people talk about his life this weekend also made me realize what a wonderful father, husband and human being he was as well. Watch Meet the Press's tribute posted on YouTube below.

I can't believe she's already 3 weeks old! I'm still waiting for mine to make his entrance... *sigh*

(Same comment as on your blog - too tired to think of new thoughts! lol)

Oh man - keep the faith. I was a day late myself!

Plus, take it from one who now knows. Much easier to take care of baby in your tummy than outside of it. At least you should be more well rested! LOL! Seriously though, it's all worth it. The wait, the lack of sleep, the not knowing. So try to take advantage of getting as much sleep as you can now because sister, I've never been so freaking tired!

And make sure to sleep when the baby sleeps! Don't update your blog or post photos - I stupidly did that and regret it now. ;)

The baby is soooo cute. My babies are all grown up now. Although, I really would like to have a baby around. I am not ready to be a grandparent. I just love on other babies. They can be alot of work and yes you must rest that body when the baby does. You went through a tremoudous amount of work to have her. Just cuddle and love on her. Your body will let you know when you are ready to get back into it. (Yoga) Like to see more pics.
